The KarLi is located in the student-alternative district of Leipzig-Südvorstadt and is one of the most famous streets in Leipzig. This is where the squatter scene and club culture merged in the early 1990s.
Today, the outstanding feature is the network of culture and international gastronomy, which you can enjoy on the numerous outdoor seating areas, especially in the summer months. Particularly worth seeing places along the KarLi include the "Löffelfamilie" on the delicatessen grounds, the house designed by Fischer-Art (No. 43), the naTo and many more.
