A more recent monument is the organ by the Borna organ builder Urban Kreutzbach (1796–1868), which was inaugurated in December 1983 in the church of St. Mary in Borna. Kreutzbach originally built it in 1849 for the village church of Mochau (near Döbeln). However, due to a partial demolition of the church, it had to be abandoned there. After a thorough restoration, with a new, elegant tin pipe facade and case, the organ building company Jehmlich brought the instrument back to life at its current destination.
