The former manor house in Lampertswalde is well worth a visit, with its well-maintained park, rare botanical treasures, a restored gardener's cottage converted into a residence, and a castle café in the former palm house. The moated castle stood on Rose Island until its demolition in 1948. Among the botanical treasures are a giant plane tree, several tulip trees, and a tree-lined avenue. The crocus meadow is particularly beautiful in spring.
The association "Schätze und Plätze" eV is dedicated to the upkeep and cultural enrichment of Lampertswalde Castle Park. Numerous cultural events take place here during the summer months.
