The park was built on the former site of the Eilenburg train station and officially opened in 2004. The park is characterized by a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities.

Sports and games are available, for example, in the form of table tennis tables, playing fields for ball sports, and opportunities for boules, inline skating, and mountain climbing. A fairytale forest can be explored and a water play area can be used to cool off. Due to the many activities for children, the complex is ideal for family outings.
