Every year on the first weekend of Advent, the festive Christmas market takes place at Mügeln Town Hall. Regional clubs spoil visitors with lots of treats and offers. The highlights are a showman, the Christmas angel with the presents, the kindergarten performances, the model railway exhibition and the famous Mügeln Christmas house. The Wild Robert steam train takes visitors back and forth between Mügeln and Oschatz.
