Naundorf

The small community of Naundorf near Oschatz offers a quiet and green place to stay for leisure and active guests. In addition to the Jahnatal cycle path, which runs from Zschaitz to Riesa through the district of Hof, the small community can also be reached via the Döllnitzbahn stop between Mügeln and Oschatz. In the district of Hof, you should not miss a walk through the beautiful castle park with a view of the old and new castles of the old manor.


There are no significant climbs on this tour. This cycle route runs almost exclusively on special cycle and hiking trails. This makes the route particularly recommended for families with children. The very good signage with white and green signposts and the inscription "Jahnatalradweg" show cyclists the best way.

Döllnitzbahn

The Döllnitzbahn runs for 20 km from Oschatz via Mügeln to Glossen and Kemmlitz. On its way it passes 9 stations and 8 stops. One of these stops between Oschatz and Mügeln is Naundorf. After major construction work in the southern station building in Oschatz, the Döllnitzbahn's steam train days have finally been open again since June 2016 and the model railway exhibition can be visited.
