Exhibition on the history of timekeeping, clockworks from four centuries.

Tower clocks with gears have been built since 1300 and have continued to develop in the years since in line with technological advances. The task and goal of the first Saxon Tower Clock Museum in Naunhof is to track down, preserve, restore and make accessible to the public these testimonies of a time-honored craft from past centuries.

In addition to carefully restored mechanical tower clocks, a tower clock and bell ringing system as well as a cross-section of main and secondary clocks are on display. A café integrated into the museum and regular events and special exhibitions further expand the range of offerings.
