Permanent exhibitions “From the life of the old Pegauers” and “Mammoth monks makers”, annually changing special exhibition.

The town museum was housed in the town hall on October 6, 1899 by Pastor Conrad Dillner, after initially being housed in the public school, later in the carabiners' oat store and in the superintendent's office. Halfway up the observation deck of the town hall tower, visitors enter the museum via the 300-year-old spiral staircase through a creaking iron door. The exhibition "From the life of the old Pegau residents" is on the lower floor. It contains testimonies of our ancestors' childhood, school, profession, club, restaurant and hobbies.
