The historic Stötteritzer Waldchen with playgrounds, pond and old trees is an important local recreational opportunity for the district.
There is a lot to discover here. On the approximately 17 hectare area there is a old trees consisting of the main representatives ash, hornbeam, small-leaved lime and maple. Through the forest run numerous paths, which invite you to take a walk. The forest is particularly beautiful in spring, when first the wild garlic sprouts and then the cherry blossoms bloom.

There are two children's playgrounds, a duck pond, a large meadow and a toboggan hill that was built from rubble after the Second World War. Adjacent in different directions are Leisure pool, Allotment garden area with pub and the historic estatewhere events and markets take place.
