The Treblitzsch Landscape Park was created in 1927 and 1928 by Max Schlenker, landowner in Ammlgoßwitz. The park covers an area of approximately five hectares and contains almost 250 different coniferous and deciduous trees as well as shrubs in various species and cultivated forms. This diversity makes the park one of the most valuable collections of trees in the Free State of Saxony. The government district of Saxony has declared the Treblitzsch Landscape Park a protected park under nature conservation.
