Just half an hour from Leipzig, in the green heart of the Saxon Burgenland, the stately Trebsen Castle rises above the western bank of the Mulde. From afar, the four-winged castle complex welcomes visitors with a late Gothic façade interwoven with multifaceted decorative gables. Inside Trebsen Castle, the charming restaurant invites you to linger. Under lofty diamond vaults, guests are pampered with freshly prepared à la carte dishes, sweet treats to accompany coffee, entertaining banquets, stylish weddings, tasteful wine tastings, individually designed parties and similar delicacies. The castle kitchen combines the delights of traditional country cooking with elements of courtly culinary delights and spices everything up with a pinch of creativity. All dishes are freshly prepared and the chefs attach great importance to the quality and origin of the ingredients, which are sourced from the region wherever possible. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating area in the inner courtyard and the castle terrace with a view of the valley offer many hospitable spots.
In addition to the historic restaurant, a sublime banquet hall, a registry office and soon also stylish overnight accommodation will be offered.
