The Bistumshöhe is a hill in the southwestern area of Lake Cospuden. There is a 35-meter observation tower there, which offers a picturesque view over Zwenkau and Lake Cospuden. The tower's chimney-style construction is reminiscent of the former chimneys that characterized Leipzig for a long time. The name of the observation tower has its origins in the past of the hill, which is said to have belonged to the diocese of Merseburg. A visit is particularly worthwhile in the early evening hours to watch the romantic sunset.
