The MS Santa Barbara invites you to a round trip on Lake Zwenkau.
For anyone who doesn't want to paddle, sail or steer themselves, the motto on board the MS Santa Barbara is: CAST OFF. With the Santa Barbara, guests can embark on a unique experience on Lake Zwenkau - whether on one of the regular tours, a themed trip, a charter trip or even for a wedding. The captain and his crew provide an incomparable insight into the development of Lake Zwenkau and the history of the former open-cast mine.

Depending on the seating arrangement, up to 90 people can enjoy the unique open-air experience of a one-hour round trip across Lake Zwenkau (from Zwenkau harbor at KAP Zwenkau) on the front, sun and aft decks. The use of the main deck (max. 60 people) is independent of the weather and is therefore possible all year round. The layout of the main deck allows for a variety of solutions, especially for group events.

The passenger ship MS Santa Barbara (length 26,70 and width 4,85 meters) was built in 1957 at the Oberkassel shipyard. Until 2007, it carried passengers on the Plauer See and the Müritz under the name Walküre. On 12 July 2008, the ceremonial christening of the ship took place. Santa Barbara and the maiden voyage took place on the emerging Zwenkau Lake.

Note: Dogs are only allowed on the upper deck.
