The Brühl Arcade runs through the Marriott Hotel building, combining flat passageways with two glazed, bright atriums. Above the entrance at Brühl, the passage is characterized by a three-story balcony bay window. The new hotel building thus fits in with the traditional architecture of Leipzig's passage system.
The Brühl Arcade houses, among others, the studio of the Leipzig artist Michael Fischer-Art, whose colorful paintings adorn the passageway as well as the east façade of the building complex.
