The academixer cabaret, founded in 1966 as a student cabaret, is now one of the best ensemble cabarets in Germany. The repertoire ranges from current political programs to literary-musical cabaret and satirical theater to Saxon dialect. A trademark of the academixer is the involvement of excellent musicians.Guest performances by well-known cabaret artists from all over Germany are also a regular part of the program. The original Art Deco stage hall with 250 seats is considered one of the most beautiful cabaret stages in Germany.
