At the gates of the Düben Heath, Löbnitz is surrounded by the Mulde floodplain and the Seelhausener See. Here, nature can be explored on designated circular trails around the Großer Goitzschesee and Seelhausener See, on the Mulderadweg and the Lutherweg Sachsen. The village church, which is over 800 years old, houses important sacred relics such as a 400-year-old winged altar and an illustrated Bible ceiling that is unique in Central Germany.
