Cinémathèque Leipzig – Cultural Cinema on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße
The Cinémathèque Leipzig was founded in 1991 and sees itself as a place for cultural and social debate with and about film. The Cinémathèque shows current cinema releases, selected films in (new) thematic-artistic contexts, curated film series and experiments at the boundaries of film, accompanied by film talks, discussions, introductions and exhibitions.

The box office currently opens 30 minutes before the film starts. Reserved tickets must be picked up there no later than 15 minutes before the film starts.
