Oschatz City and Scale Museum
The Oschatz City and Weighing Museum is located in the historic buildings of the council and administrative fortresses, which border directly on the old town walls, some of which are still well preserved. In this lovingly restored complex, you can experience the city's history up close. The scale exhibition, unique in Central Germany, consists of more than 100 specimens that vividly illustrate the development of scale construction from its beginnings to the most modern electronic weighing equipment. Of course, every visitor can also determine their own "weight" here. The Zwinger Garden is a pleasant place to linger. Climbing up to the walk-in city watchtower from 1377 is a very special experience.
