The Trebsen town church is a large Romanesque hall church from the 12th century with a late Gothic choir with a 3/8 end (1518). The tower, built in 1552, has an onion dome completed in 1731. The interior of the church was furnished in the Baroque style after 1700 and is still characterized today by the large ceiling painting from 1701, which depicts the Ascension of Elijah. The church documents 9 centuries of Christian building, culture and church history in a unique way. On display are, among other things, the relief gravestone of Judita of Trebissen from the first half of the 1th century, a large crucifix (around 12) and figurative tombs of patrons and parish families. The stained glass in the chancel from 1500 shows the Risen Christ, including the Wiede family, who founded the church. War memorial in the former sacristy with a Pieta from 1912 and a stained glass window from 1923.
In the rectory there is a diaconate from the 16th century with a double portal made of Rochlitz porphyry tuff and the rectory from the 16th and 18th centuries with a seating niche portal (around 1520).
