Europe House
At 54 metres high, the Europahaus is only 13 metres taller than its predecessor. It has a 13-storey tower-like central building and two seven-storey side wings. The facade is covered with shell limestone panels. In 1965, the entrance hall was decorated with pillar arcades during a renovation. However, the roof terrace was no longer used for gastronomic purposes during the renovation.
The house was not decorated with ornaments or other flourishes. The only element that serves to beautify it is the horizontal lettering "Europahaus" between the sixth and seventh floors. The rows of finely structured windows also serve a functional purpose. Otherwise, only the pillars between the windows emphasize the vertical orientation.
