Geoportal Mügeln Station with Kaolin Adventure World
The tours through the "Kaolin Adventure World" provide information about the geological formation of white clay, about kaolin mining in underground and open-cast mining, about the history of Europe's largest narrow-gauge network around Mügeln station and about other industrial uses of the raw material.
Guided hikes on the "Path to Kaolin" as well as a Bike Rental complement the offer. The Döllnitzbahn starts its themed trips with diesel and steam locomotives at the Mügeln narrow-gauge station.

Long Thursday with after-work tours until 19 pm, on the 1st Thursday of each month (groups must register in advance).
Special opening hours during the winter, summer and autumn holidays: Monday to Friday 10:00 – 17:00.

By car: Take the A14 to the Leisnig exit. Continue on the S31 to Bahnhofstraße in Mügeln. A car park with two campervan pitches and one bus parking space is available at the freight yard.
