At Haus Steinstraße, as an independent youth welfare organization, the main task is integrative, intergenerational and intercultural educational work with children and young people. A team of artists, craftsmen, scientists, educators and career changers offers daily courses in theater, dance, music, painting, graphics, book printing, ceramics, handicrafts/building as well as new media and political education.
Year-round cultural projects are dedicated to individual themes that invite all age groups through courses, school projects, workshops, events and holiday offers and enable a lively interaction and support for one another. In addition, special emphasis is placed on promoting integrative projects in order to sensitize even the youngest children to how to deal with others.
