Leisnig caste order, development of Leisnig church music since the 16th century, information boards about Martin Luther, Reformation in Saxony.

On the upper floor of the town estate you will find the exhibition on the Leisnig caste system, Leisnig church music and the history of the town of Leisnig.
The extensive renovation of the historic building in the heart of the city was completed in 2013. After decades of work, the remarkable interior design was restored or reconstructed. In addition to the historically valuable exhibits, you will also find interesting facts on the large information boards on the following topics: Martin Luther and the Reformation in Saxony, citizenship and piety around 1500, Buch Monastery - monastic life and significance for the city of Leisnig, Leisnig cantors and information on the restoration of the upper floor.

Arrival & Parking

By car: Follow A14 to S31 in Leisnig, take exit 14-Leisnig on A33. Follow S31, Dorfstraße, S31, Leisniger Str. and Grimmaer Str. to Kirchstraße.

By public transport: Take the RB110 to Leisnig, train station. It is a 1km walk to the destination.
