New life in an old wine bar – Horns Erben in Leipzig’s southern suburbs is a fixture in Leipzig’s cultural scene.
In 1923, Wilhelm Horn founded his spirits company, the old sparkling wine cellar on Arndtstraße. "Horn's Weinstube" was the flagship of a total of 46 branches. At the end of 2004, four students discovered the historic premises and breathed new life into them. Initially a "living room for friends," today Horn's Erben is a sought-after venue for concerts, readings, and theater performances.

Sunday at "Horns" is reserved for Tatort. Here, you can watch the German crime classic on the big screen in pleasant company. Horns Erben is run by volunteers and offers not only cultural events but also freshly cooked meals every evening.
