Info-Point and City Library in the Napoleonhaus Pegau
The spacious and inviting rooms of the Napoleon House encourage visitors to linger. The city library is not just a place to borrow media, but a gathering place for many. Whether on rainy afternoons or as a destination on sunny days off, young and old alike are welcome to read and play games. Kindergartens, schools, and after-school programs are also welcome, often spending project days here. Readings and lectures liven up the long Tuesday hours, and in November everyone looks forward to the Wishing Tree, a media gift drive from readers for readers. The city library's collection comprises approximately 13.000 items, including books, magazines, Tonies, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, and board games. The library's collection is highly valued by its patrons. New releases are carefully selected and ordered, consistently delighting readers.
