The Spitzberg is located in the north of the town of Waldheim. It is 256 metres high and is popular with hikers because of the "Kreuzfelsen" viewing platform. This offers a very wide view over the town to the opposite mountain ranges, such as the Breitenberg or the Wachberg. Since 2004, the Kreuzfelsen has also been known to some music lovers. It was the birth year of the "Sounds of Hollywood" - the film music classics with a spectacular open-air atmosphere.
