The Kunstkraftwerk is a venue for multimedia exhibitions, spectacular 360° video shows and a unique cultural hotspot in the west of Leipzig.
Immersive, digital, interactive, multimedia! Since 2016, the former heating plant in Leipzig has been transformed into a center for digital and contemporary art. Spectacular 360° immersive audiovisual projections, art exhibitions, live music events, and digital and multimedia shows immerse visitors in the art, breaking down all boundaries between the works of art and those who view them.
The digital and contemporary exhibitions are created in collaboration with international artists, who are inspired by the great artists of the past, masterpieces of the contemporary scene, and the latest developments in new media art.
From January 31.01.2025, XNUMX, visitors to the new exhibition "ORIGINS - Life's Epic Journey" will embark on an immersive journey through the origins of life and immerse themselves in a visual and emotional reinterpretation of the origin of life.

- The main entrance of the old thermal power plant is accessible via 3 steps (15-22 cm).
