The Kunstkraftwerk is a partner of the Leipzig Card / Leipzig Regio Card. The benefits are described under "Good to Know / Price Information".
The Kunstkraftwerk is a venue for multimedia exhibitions, spectacular 360° video shows and a unique cultural hotspot in the west of Leipzig.

Immersive, digital, interactive, multimedia! Since 2016, the former heating plant in Leipzig has been transformed into a center for digital and contemporary art. Spectacular 360° immersive audiovisual projections, art exhibitions, live music events, and digital and multimedia shows immerse visitors in the art, breaking down all boundaries between the works of art and those who view them.

The digital and contemporary exhibitions are created in collaboration with international artists, who are inspired by the great artists of the past, masterpieces of the contemporary scene, and the latest developments in new media art.
From February 14, 2026, visitors will embark on an immersive journey through Mexico in the 1920s to 1940s as part of the new exhibition "Viva Frida Kahlo", and thus through the life, art and emotions of the world-famous artist.

The recommended length of stay at the Kunstkraftwerk is 1,5 to 2 hours.
