Lapidarium Torgau

In the oldest part of Hartenfels Castle in Torgau, the Lower Court Room houses the Lapidarium, a unique medieval architectural treasure. In the impressive cellar vault beneath the castle church, visitors experience an interesting journey into the castle's architectural history. The Lapidarium (Latin for "stone collection") displays "stone witnesses" telling the story of the castle.
