Mügeln Local History Museum
The permanent exhibition of the 100-year-old Mügeln Local History Museum covers the following topics: town history including craft and industrial history, geological diversity of the region, traces of people from prehistoric times, and Dr. Georg Schmorl. Two special exhibitions are held annually.
Guided tours and city walks can be booked.
The museum is housed in the renovated "Old Girls' School" with an event courtyard and in the adjoining old museum building. An event room for 40 people is available on the ground floor.
