LOFFT – THE THEATER is a nationally and internationally recognized production and performance venue for independent performing arts in Leipzig. Drama, dance and performances are produced and presented here. As a production house, LOFFT offers the stage for the latest artistic projects and cooperates with numerous artists, theaters and festivals in Leipzig, Germany and throughout Europe.
In March 2019, LOFFT – DAS THEATER opened its new venue on the Spinnereisite in Leipzig. After a spectacular renovation, the famous SpinnereiA theater has been created on the site that not only looks great, but also offers plenty of space. Around 200 guests can fit into the rooms, which have already captivated many with their loft-like character and high-quality theater stages.
A fascinating program with artists from all over the world makes Leipzig a magnet for contemporary art. In addition to great entertainment, the Leipzig theater LOFFT also focuses on controversial social issues and also offers a barrier-free space for art and its audience, high above the rooftops of the Pleissem metropolis.

The box office opens 45 minutes before the performance begins. Please collect reserved tickets no later than 30 minutes before the performance starts.

- Access to the theater is from Saarländer Strasse/ corner Spinnereistreet.
- Parking spaces are located directly in front of the hall in the inner courtyard.
- Alternative entrance for wheelchair users via a slope to the elevator: door 130 cm, area 130x275 cm
- The large and small halls as well as wheelchair accessible toilets (with EURO key) are located on the 3rd floor.
- Another wheelchair accessible toilet is located on the 2nd floor.
