Messehofpassage (Petersstraße / Neumarkt)

pedestrian zone
Retail
The Messehofpassage is one of the newer passages in Leipzig. It runs between Neumarkt and Petersstraße.
Opened in 1950 for the autumn fair, the exhibition courtyard was the first completely new exhibition building of the post-war period. The 80-metre-long shopping street inside was redesigned in 2006. In the hall at the Petersstrasse entrance, the illuminated mushroom column made of Jura marble is a reminder of the old passage.

The Messehofpassage is connected to the Königshauspassage via the Mädler Passage.
