The city tour recalls the historical developments of 1989 at prominent points in Leipzig's city centre.
Every Saturday at 14 p.m., the museum in the "Round Corner" offers a city tour of the most important sites of the Peaceful Revolution in Leipzig. The tour takes you to the Nikolaikirchhof, where the call for freedom was heard as early as spring 89, to Augustusplatz, where mass rallies took place in the autumn, and along the Leipziger Ring, the route of the demonstrations. During the city tour, you will also experience how Leipzig has developed since 1989.

The tour is particularly aimed at youth groups and young adults, who will be given a memorable introduction to the Peaceful Revolution. Booked groups will also be provided with mobile headphones so that each participant can easily follow the group guide's instructions.
The city tour begins every Saturday at 14.00 p.m. at the main portal of St. Nicholas Church.
