Hermann Eule (1846 - 1929) founded the organ building business in Bautzen in 1872, which is still successful today. In 1928, the Eule company fundamentally rebuilt the organ with 1890 registers that had been built in 25 by the Jehmlich company in Dresden for the Grimma Frauenkirche. With pneumatic action and pocket chests, the organ is listed as Opus 167 in the Eule company's manufacturing list. The organ builder defines pocket chests as a special pneumatic wind chest system. In 2005, the swell organ was expanded to include the Oboe 8' register from the Eule organ in the Maria-und-Martha Church in Bautzen, which is no longer extant. II/30. The organ is always impressively played in church services and concerts.
