Eule organ in the Nepperwitz church

Church
The organ in Nepperwitz was built in 1911 by Hermann Eule from Bautzen.
Typical for an instrument of this period, the key and stop action are pneumatic, and the pipes are mounted on pocket chests. Due to the small size of the organ, the pneumatic action operates almost instantaneously. The disposition and intonation are typical for a village organ of this size. Among other things, the organ impresses with its warm principal.

The first repair was carried out in 1998/1999 by Georg Wünning from Großolbersdorf. After 30 years of use, an urgently needed restoration was made possible through a fundraising campaign by the Nepperwitz Local History Society, in which the entire village donated to the preservation and restoration of the organ. In the summer of 2019, the organ was finally re-consecrated after another restoration by Georg Wünning.
