Park Canitz

On the banks of the Mulde - an attractive resting place near the Mulde cycle path - lies the Canitz Nature and History Park. Experience nature in harmony with our history. Discover the everyday life of our ancestors from the Stone Age to the slave era.
You can learn interesting facts about the habitats of insects, from butterflies to bees, in the natural gardens. The themed gardens (including the fragrance, herb, organic and rose gardens) are always inviting at different times of the year.
A museum facility in the center of the "Canitz Park" contains exhibitions on the history of settlement in the Mulde-Parthe area, on forest and nature conservation in the middle Mulde area, on drinking water protection and drinking water production. An exhibition by the Nature Conservation Association can also be seen here.
The use of the entire park in Canitz is ideal for children's birthdays, family and company celebrations as well as seminars.
