Auensee Park Railway
Since August 5, 1951, the park railway has been making its rounds on the 1,9-kilometer-long route around the Auensee. The stops are the train station and three other stops on Gustav-Esche-Straße, Haus Auensee and Elsteraue.
The train runs regularly from the beginning of April to the beginning of November on weekdays and on Sundays and public holidays and is operated by children and young people in their free time. The station also offers bicycle and sports equipment rental during opening hours. The station also has a small sales kiosk with outdoor seating.

By public transport: The nearest stop is Leipzig, Auensee (bus line 80). Alternatively, take the tram to Leipzig, Wahren (tram lines 10, 11). From there it's about an 11-minute walk.
