The Pittler Works, formerly known as a manufacturer of machine tools, now serve as an exhibition venue for contemporary art.
Once known for machine tool manufacturing, the Pittlerwerke in the northwestern Leipzig district of Wahren have now become a work of art in their own right. Renovation work in recent years has ensured that a large part of the building complex's rooms can be used again. Similar to the Baumwollspinnerei and the Kunstkraftwerk, contemporary artists from all over the world are approached and invited to the works as part of regular events.
