Pöge-Haus

After the former residential building stood empty for many years and was left to decay, the Pöge-Haus was given new life by artists and architects in 2009. In 2014, the newly founded Pöge-Haus eV acquired the property in order to convert it into a living and creative space with a lot of initiative. Today, there is a gallery café here, where art and exchange are the focus, as well as seminar rooms, studios and apartments for the resident artists. The Pöge-Haus sees itself not only as an art center, but also as a living and meeting place in Leipzig Neustadt, in which residents can actively participate.
