Kohren-Sahlis Pottery Museum
Historic pottery house dating back to around 1700, permanent exhibition with old pottery from the 17th to 20th centuries, guild trinkets and work materials.
The pottery museum is located in one of the oldest and most beautiful half-timbered houses in Kohren-Sahlis. It was built in 1763 as a pottery house and operated as a pottery until 1957. Since 1961, the history of the Kohren potters has been brought to life in the pottery museum. There were once 14 master potters here and their own pottery guild, founded in 1656. In addition to the permanent exhibition with old Kohren ceramics from the 17th to 20th centuries, the guild's trinkets and work materials, an original pottery room can also be visited here.

The Pottery Museum is the administrative headquarters of the three “Kohren-Sahlis Museums” (Pottery Museum, Hofmann Collection Museum, Schwind Pavilion).
