During extensive restoration work on the church in the 60s, including the renovation of the church tower, a new organ was planned and the Wilhelm Rühle company was commissioned to build it. The organ replaces a lost instrument from 1841. In 1996/97, the organ was restored by the Christian Scheffler organ workshop. Concerts are regularly held in the church in the summer.
