Schlag & Söhne organ in the church in Kieritzsch

Klangkörper & Ensemble
In 1907/08 the organ built for the church in Kieritzsch was manufactured with cone chests and pneumatic action.

Gottlieb Schlag (1803 - 1889) learned from Gottlieb Schönburg in Schafstädt. From 1834 to 1869 he was the owner of the company Christian Gottlieb & Johann Karl Schlag in Schweidnitz. The company Schlag & Söhne worked under this company name from 1869 to 1923. Founded in the tradition of mechanical organ building, the organ built in 1907/08 for the church in Kieritzsch was made with cone chests and pneumatic action. II/12. The primarily fundamental disposition corresponds entirely to the sound ideal of this era. In 2010/11 a general overhaul was carried out by the Bochmann company in Kohren-Sahlis.
