Tourist Information "Rochlitzer Muldental"

The "Rochlitzer Muldental" tourist information office, as the office of the "Rochlitzer Muldental" local history and tourism association, is not only the contact point for the approximately 180 association members, but primarily for tourists and locals who have questions about the tourist offers in the association area between Rochlitz, Penig and Burgstädt. Even after more than 30 years of growing tourism in the region, it is still important to keep bringing this economic factor into the public spotlight with comprehensive measures.

Information:
From April to October, the Geoportal Porphyrhaus at Gleisbergbruch on the Rochlitzer Berg serves as an outpost of the "Rochlitzer Muldental" tourist information office. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 15 p.m., there is information about the region and interesting facts about the formation, mining and use of Rochlitz porphyry tuff.
