Wermsdorf, which was first mentioned in documents in 1206, owes its current fame beyond the borders of Saxony to its scenic charm and interesting history, which is shaped by Saxon history. Even the Saxon rulers, including Augustus the Strong, came to relax in Wermsdorf. Since 2004, Wermsdorf has been officially designated as a "state-recognized health resort". Here you can relax like a king and take advantage of a wide range of options. Our tourist information office is located in the Old Hunting Lodge, the older and smaller of the two Wermsdorf castles. To make your visit as pleasant as possible, we are happy to provide you with information and answer any questions you may have.
