Tower keeper's apartment in the church of St. Aegidien Oschatz

lookout point/tower
Visible from afar, the 75-meter-high, double-towered St. Aegidien Church towers over the town of Oschatz.
The tower keeper and his family used to live in the south tower of the church. This historic tower keeper's apartment can be reached via 199 steps and is a must-see. The climb is rewarded with a "bowl of Heeßen" and a fascinating view of the town of Oschatz and the surrounding region.
