The Lippendorf power plant is operated by the Lusatian energy companies and invites you to take a look behind the scenes during a guided tour.

The Lippendorf power plant is one of the most modern coal-fired power plants in Europe and is located about 15 kilometers south of Leipzig. It consists of a double-block plant, both of whose power plant blocks are operated by the Lusatian energy companies. During a two-hour guided tour, visitors and interested parties can even take a look behind the scenes of the plant, inspect the halls with the respective work stations and gain numerous technological insights. From the 163-meter-high boiler house, visitors are even granted a unique view of Leipzig's New Lake District.
