This section of the Elbe Cycle Route begins in Elster (Elbe). The route initially leads via Prettin and Großtreben-Zwethau towards Torgau. Anyone who wants to take a short break here must cross the Elbe Bridge. Passing Belgern, Mühlberg (Elbe), and Strehla, you finally reach Riesa.

Arrival & Parking
Those arriving by car can best reach Elbe-Elster via the A13 Berlin-Dresden motorway, taking the exits at Duben, Calau, Bronkow, Großräschen, Klettwitz, Ruhland, and Ortrand. Then continue on the federal highways to your chosen destination.

- or: approx. 15 km to Lutherstadt Wittenberg, direct connection to Leipzig Hbf
