The route, stretching for approximately 30 kilometers, winds along expansive orchards where tens of thousands of tons of pome, stone, and berry fruit ripen annually. The cold storage facility in Dürrweitzschen, the heart of the fruit's storage, sorting, packaging, and marketing, offers insights into the current production processes.
