The hiker begins at the Bad Düben Nature Park House and first hikes on the Torgischer hiking trail, which begins there, through the beautiful old town of Bad Düben until it meets the Tiglitz circular trail at a shopping center. Now the circular trail leads out of the town together with the Torgischer hiking trail, in an easterly direction. For the first three kilometers, a comfortable new asphalt path leads up a terminal moraine hill, which delights the hiker with a wonderful panoramic view of the town, the fields and the surrounding villages. Then it goes on natural forest paths through part of the Tiglitz forest and after about a kilometer the Tiglitz circular trail branches off from the Torgischer trail and leads through the typical landscape of the Düben Heath. A very beautiful old path leads alternately past fields and you repeatedly dive into the nearby forest. The path is lined with old fruit trees and flowering hedges, no noise of civilization, only the buzzing of insects and the trilling of larks accompany the hiker. You feel as if you have been transported back to an earlier time. Further on, past the heath villages of Kossa and Durchwehna, the hiker comes back into the forest after about ten kilometers and the path leads into a shady, damp valley. Here, just before the Gleinermühle, the Schleifbach is dammed and the beaver, the heraldic animal of the Düben Heath, has established itself here and left its mark. You pass through a viaduct, leave the Gleinermühle on the right, go left along the Heidebahn line steeply uphill and on a green forest path towards Bad Düben. Once you have reached the modern Federal Police headquarters, the hiker can see his starting point or destination again after one kilometer.
