The leisurely cycle route takes us from Torgau to Delitzsch without any major climbs, but with an exceptional range of opportunities for natural history observation and worthwhile detours to numerous sights.

Directions
The route starts in Torgau at the famous Hartenfels Castle, directly on the Elbe River. Following Schloßstraße, the path leads across the market square, past the Bürgermeister-Ringenhain-Haus (Mayor Ringenhain House) to Friedrichplatz. You then pass the Torgau District Hospital and Fort Zinna Castle before leaving Torgau behind and reaching Süptitz via Zinna. The cycle path now continues through the Düben Heath Nature Park, which impresses with its magnificent pine groves and extensive mixed forests. Along the way, you pass the villages of Weidenhain, Roitzsch, Pressel, and Authausen before reaching the spa town of Bad Düben. At Bad Düben Castle, the cycle path crosses the Mulde Bridge and continues right along the Vereinigte Mulde River to Löbnitz. Passing south of Seehausener See, the tour finally continues via Benndorf to Delitzsch.

- A14 Halle-Dresden → Exit Leipzig Nord-Ost → via Eilenburg to Torgau (approx. 50 km)

By train or S-Bahn to Torgau.
Leipzig – Torgau – Falkenberg – Cottbus/Hoyerswerda (S 4 or RE 10)
From here it is less than 15 minutes to the start of the tour.
It is also possible to start in the opposite direction and there is also a direct train or S-Bahn connection in Delitzsch.

From Torgau you can continue on the Elbe Cycle Path. In Delitzsch you can connect to the COAL | STEAM | LIGHT | LAKES cycle route. In both places you can continue or return using public transport.
