Directions

Starting at the main station, the signposted path leads through the underpass of the railway tracks to Mastener Strasse. Follow Mastener Strasse towards the city to the staircase at the Bürgergarten. Through the Bürgergarten to Waldheimer Strasse, then turn into Bärentalstrasse and follow the signs to "Bärental". Walk through the "Bärental", past the "Schillerhöhe" garden group, cross the state road and continue to follow the markings that lead you through the "Butterbüchse" to Rößchengrundstrasse, which you follow to the left. Before you reach the small weekend settlement, turn right onto Balkonweg and follow this to the "Roßweiner Anlagen" forest. Take the asphalt path through the forest to the beginning of the "Roßweiner Strasse settlement". At the "Döbeln" town sign, cross this road and then follow the path along the Mulde, past the sports field and fitness center, to the Schiffsbrücke. Here you cross the Freiberger Mulde and follow the signs through the residential areas of Döbeln-Ost I and Ost II to Amselgrund. After crossing the dam, first go left and then right along the edge of the field, heading north to Pommlitz. The hiking trail now runs along Walter-Eckhardt-Straße to Holländerweg and then along the nature trail to Leipziger Straße. Cross Leipziger Straße to the Greiner settlement, then follow the markings down to the Mulde cycle path. Follow the cycle path to the right, cross the Freiberger Mulde and turn left onto Grimmaische Straße. Finally, keep right onto Lindenallee until you reach the destination at the main station.
